@droman30 I hear … @droman30 I hear that the rules were agreed upon before the event between both sides. The rules remind me of sambo because they don’t tolerate stalling but I believe that on the ground they do get points for being in a dominant position and of course for takedowns.

@Charkoly2 Yes and … @Charkoly2 Yes and No, The person who made Sambo was a black belt in Judo,and because of the similarity between Judo and other types of ethnic wrestling, it was greatly influenced by wrestling. Well if you do wrestling and Judo you would see the similarities anyway. So really Sambo, Bjj and Judo are related to each other, only the progression went to a different path.
@rommelcs79 … @rommelcs79 Actually, BJJ is a direct “descendant” of Japanese JJ, just like Judo, which make the two sports directly related to one another, while Sport Sambo, on the other hand, was only influenced by Judo (in combination with a variety of European wrestling styles).
Judo+Bjj= More well … Judo+Bjj= More well rounded Grappler, same as Sambo+Bjj.. they’re all related although, Sambo and Judo are much more closer to each other. BJJ is 90 percent groundwork.

@smzharas small … @smzharas small correction traditional sambo has no chokes they decided that it was not very technique to go for a chock so they only allow leg locks and arm bars that’s why most pure sambists have a hard time defending chokes unless they did some judo or kombat sambo where chokes are allowed
